Alma’s Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Alma mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the app on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our application. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. User Account
3.1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password.
3.2. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Content
4.1. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the app.
4.2. By submitting content, you grant Alma a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute your content for the purposes of operating and improving our services.
4.3. You agree not to post any content that is illegal, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1. The Alma app and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Alma and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or included software.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1. Our collection and use of personal information in connection with your access to and use of the app is described in our Privacy Policy.
6.2. You agree that Alma may process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our service
- To notify you about changes to our service
- To provide customer support
- To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our service
- To monitor the usage of our service
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues
6.3. In compliance with GDPR, we affirm the following rights for EU users:

- The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate or complete information you believe is incomplete.

The app may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Alma. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
8. Termination
8.1. We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the app immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason.
8.2. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease.
8.3. You may request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us at contact@almasocial.ch.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the app.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Use on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11.2. For EU users, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
